Help Wanted: Farmers Market Manager

Join Our Team!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to manage our vibrant farmers market. If you are passionate about local food, community, and supporting small businesses, this is the perfect role for you.

Hours: Part Time, Seasonal
Tuesdays, 1:30-7 & Saturdays 7-1
The HCFM opens 5/31 and typically goes until the end of November

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee farmers market operations
- Coordinate vendor parking/fees and ensure compliance with market rules
- Manage market setup and takedown
- Engage with customers and vendors to ensure a positive experience
- Promote market events, activities, and vendors
- Post on social media (scheduled daily posts on Instagram and Facebook)
- Distribute SNAP/EBT tokens and collect payment; Send weekly report to Wholesome Wave
- Conduct weekly drawings; Post photos of winners on social media
- Monitor supplies and maintain restroom/office cleanliness
- Report to and receive instructions from Board President

Requirements:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility and positive attitude
- Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
- Comfortable handling cash and ability to make change
- Commitment to the full market season
- Reliable transportation
